Countertops - Geocrete
This hardened mixture of water, cement, and sand or gravel isn’t just for your
basement floor anymore. It can make quite a statement up in the kitchen. The counters
can be pre-cast to fit a mold or cast on site. Consider applying a lacquer sealer to help
prevent stains and water damage or covering it with a raised glass top.
The mixed formula and casting process creates a luster that is almost maintenance free.

There are different types of finishes available including troweled, textured, and smooth pressed. Seams between concrete slabs or panels can be filled with either a matching or contrasting grout.
